linkHow to submit a video

Since we don't know if anyone will take us up on this offer, we're not going to bother creating a fancy submission process or set of Terms & Conditions just yet. For now, post the video to your Youtube or Loom account, tag it as #amplenote (and any other tags that you think would be interesting), and, if you want to overachieve, email us at support@amplenote.com to make sure we don't miss it. Please consider this the low water mark for production values. Those who are selected will most likely be reading from a script so as to avoid the 100 "ums" that accompany a live take such as the linked.

In terms of the software, Bill recorded the calendar video using ScreenFlow, which he would deem between "fine" and "meh" for ease of use and satisfaction with final product. Loom seems to be popular these days? If you have a screencasting software you love, maybe you can email us or leave a suggestion in the Youtube comments and we can add that here for others to find?

Aside from being reasonably professional, we'll mostly be looking for videos that teach us something new, or are fun/interesting to watch. Incorporating tasteful humor into the final product is a thoughtful touch.

Give it a try? Here, this one's on the house, just copy and paste, assign it as "30 minutes" 😄

Spend 30 minutes drafting a script to be read as an Amplenote user video per the instructions here

Thanks for considering! 👏 🚀 📽️
