👋 Greetings!
We want to greatly expand our library of video explainers on our YouTube channel to help new and existing users alike. Our hands are full at the moment, and we could use some help with that.
So, we are looking for a seasoned Amplenote user who can help us create as many video tutorials as possible. This role is for you if:
You are a good educator and you understand how to structure content for teaching
You are a power-user of Amplenote, you know the app inside out and you use most of its features
You are quick at recording and editing high-quality videos, with good sounding audio
You know English very well, your speech is clear and easy to understand and you have the means to record clear audio of yourself talking
You can work autonomously, make good decisions on your own and create your own roadmap for new videos.
The videos themselves can be based on existing pages from our Help Center, as well as blog posts, common use cases, plugins etc. The final videos don't require advanced video editing and should be edited only to the extent that it helps convey information. The videos will feature screen recordings of the app and audio recordings of you narrating the relevant instruction. It is up to you whether to script the video, insert cuts or do it in one take. We believe most concepts that we could cover on the channel should be doable in a 5-minute-long video or less.
We can pay between $100 and $200 USD for every 5-minute video that you can produce. We want to maintain a rhythm of at least 2 new videos per week. We are interested in collaborating for at least 3 months, and most likely for however long we have video topics stil available.
In order to apply, you have to create a video tutorial on a topic of your choice and share it with us or show us similar work that you have already done.
Please send any questions to lucian@amplenote! And thanks for helping our cause!
